New York based. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art with a concentration in Photography. My love for photography began when I was thirteen years old. On a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I came across Richard Avedon’s portrait of Marilyn Monroe. I had been so used to seeing glamorous photographs of Marilyn; this was different, this was moving. This photograph made me realize there was much more to photography and the importance of photography. It was Richard Avedon that instilled a love for photography in me. I want to one day be able to introduce new photographers to the world and have their work affect others like Avedon’s work affected me.
